TP-DCDC-4824G-HP from TYCON POWER is a highly effective solution DC/DC drivers for those who require passive power supply via Ethernet from the 48 V voltage source, such as a battery system or vehicle. They are equipped with an integrated POE injector to supply power and data output into the Ethernet Cat5 cable. The output voltage is regulated and protected. They have in common (-) and two (+) inputs for connecting 2 power sources, such as primary with backup power supply.

The injector accepts the gigabit data input to the shielded RJ45 connector and provides a gigabit data output and power supply on the shielded RJ45 output connector. They work by supplying power to Ethernet pins 4, 5 (V+) and 7, 8 (V-). They have different overvoltage, short-circuit and overload protection. The units have an output power of up to 50 W.
