UBNT airMAX PowerBeam M5 300, 5 GHz

Ubnt Airmax Powerbeam M5 300 (PBE-M5-300) is a powerful complete outdoor unit including 22 dBi outside 2x2 antennas for 5 GHz suitable for PTP connections. The unit allows communication at to 150 Mbps .

Powerbeam is based on the earlier very successful range of Nanobridge products. Newly contains more powerful hardware and smarter construction. The design has been simplified as much as possible, the installation in the field is now faster and more convenient, it now has a button to release the main unit (radiators) which was a problem for the older generation. Inside Nanobeam there is a powerful MIPS processor ATHEROS 74kc with a 560 MHz frequency, which is seconded by 64 MB DDR2 and 8 MB flash memory. The network port is supported by 10/100 Ethernet and the unit can be powered by a passive POE 24 V/0.5 and (active POE according to 802.3AF is not supported). The theoretical maximum unit throughput is 300 Mbit (MCS15, 802.11n, 2x2 outside, at a channel width of 40 MHz).

The antenna system consists of two antennas (out) with horizontal and vertical polarization that uses patented InnerFeed technology to achieve the best features while maintaining a good price.
The big advantage is ESD/EMP protection against overvoltage both wireless and ethernet parts up to 24 kv




In Bridge and WDS Mode, it supports transparently IPv6 .
The package includes a 24 V power supply power supply that includes a reset button by which you can also put the unit into TFTP firmware recovery mode. Delivery contains one side of the connection.
