UBNT ETH-SP-G2 is an overvoltage protection from Ubiquiti Networks for outdoor units. It is the effective protection of the device (including POE-powered devices) with a connection speed of to 1 Gbps that allows you to redirect harmful electrostatic discharges and overvoltages directly to ETH-SP and ensure safe grounding. Your network devices will always remain protected.
ETH-SP-G2 is equipped with two RJ-45 ports (input + output) and supports in addition to passive 24/48 in I active 802.3af POE.
difference from the first generation
The only difference from the first generation is the higher maximum peak current, which is 10 ka. For the first generation, the top current was a maximum of 5 ka.
